Baking soda and Vinegar, and Oobleck

This week for science LS2 were split up into three groups I was in group 3. Mrs Anderson was doing How to be a scientist, Ms Kirkpatrick was doing Baking soda and Vinegar, and Mrs Donaldson was doing Oobleck. Group 3 went to Mrs A first, We had to make a DLO of how to be a scientist it was good. Then we went to Ms Kirkpatrick for Baking soda, We had to write what we predict, then we got to the fun part, first we had to put baking soda in a small cup then put it in a normal bowl, then you put vinegar in a cup, after all that I poured in the vinegar into the small cup then the vinegar and baking soda turned into foam. After that we were on our last experiment, Oobleck with Mrs D unfortunately Mrs D was not here so Ms K took over, The first thing we did was write what we predict, then we got to the fun part when we make the Oobleck, first we put 4 table spoons of corn flower into a bowl, then we put the corn flower to the sides to make a well, then we had a cup of water and put blue food colouring inside the water, then we poured al little bit of water at a time, when we finished that we got to feel it. The Oobleck kind of looked like paint but when I put a lot of pressure on the Oobleck it was solid and when I put a little bit of pressure it feels like liquid. Science was fun, my favourite experiment was the Oobleck because you can play with it.
