Godwit bird - Afu, Charlize, Juanita

Last week Charlize Juanita and I have created a popplet about the Godwit bird. We had to include Migration, Habitat, Diet, and Appearance. I learnt that a Godwit can fly from NZ to Alaska without stopping, and it takes longer than a week. Take a look at it and see what you did not know about these amazing birds.

This week for reading we have been comparing Ping-He school to PBS. We had to include how it was a boarding school there and how they had dorm mom's. We had to include the difference's and the thing that are the same. We found out that in Ping-He school for PE you have to do 100 Sit up's 100 Push up's and they had to run around there track 50 times. 

How to cook Terotero

 Today I created a DLO using Google drawings with my partner Juanita about how to cook Terotero. I searched for a recipe online and made it into a DLO. 

Choosing a new flag

This morning my class did 4, 3, 2, 1 the way this works is we got 4 minutes to choose out of 5 flags then read the information about the five flags then we had to pick our favourite flag and think how to explain why, then we had 3 minutes to find a partner and tell them what flag we like and why, then we had 2 minutes to find a different partner and tell them what flag we like and why, then we had 1 minute to find 3 other people and tell them what flag we like and why.

Using google drawing my group and I made this DLO about choosing a new flag. Out of these flags I will choose the first one. The reason why I would choose that one because the black bit represents the strength of all New Zealanders and the blue bit represents the water and the sky. I think this flag will be good shown around the world.
